Our Growth & Milestones

Since our launch, we have rapidly evolved from a small operation into a trusted delivery partner for businesses across the UK. Here’s how we got here:

2021 – The Beginning

Empire Delivery was founded as a storage and removals business, with the purchase of our first van marking the start of our journey. From day one, our focus was on providing a reliable, professional service and building strong relationships with customers.

2022 – Entering the Furniture Sector

Recognising a gap in the market for premium furniture delivery and white glove services, Empire expanded into furniture logistics. Working closely with a small number of furniture brands and manufacturers, we began developing a delivery model centred around care, communication, and customer experience.

2023 – Becoming a Furniture-Focused 3PL

As demand grew, Empire transitioned into a dedicated furniture logistics provider. We expanded our partnerships with furniture brands across the UK and established nationwide home delivery capabilities, supported by our commitment to a five-star white glove delivery experience.

2024 – Expanding Our Infrastructure

To support continued growth, Empire moved into a new 11,000 sq ft facility. With a growing operational team and a fleet of up to seven vans, this milestone provided the foundation for increased capacity, improved efficiency, and wider service coverage.

2025 – Building for Scale

A major focus throughout 2025 was strengthening the business from the inside out. Investment in marketing, sales, systems, processes, health and safety, and operational controls enabled us to improve efficiency, increase capacity, and create a stronger platform for long-term growth.

2026 – End-to-End Furniture Logistics

2026 marked one of our biggest steps in our business, to date. Empire purchased its first articulated lorry, expanded to five trailers, grew its fleet to 14 vans, and increased warehousing capacity to 22,000 sq ft.

With the addition of nationwide haulage services, we now provide a true end-to-end furniture logistics solution, managing the journey from manufacturer to the customer's room of choice. As we continue to grow, our priority remains maintaining the service quality and customer experience that have driven our success.

2027 & Beyond – Scaling with Control

Our focus for the future is sustainable growth. We are committed to maintaining service standards as capacity increases, continuously improving internal procedures and operational efficiency, and integrating AI-driven technology across key areas of the business to enhance visibility, productivity, and customer experience.
